Levi and I made peanut butter cookies yesterday and I took the opportunity to introduce some size comparison to him for math. I showed him the differing containers of peanut butter and told him that they were "small, bigger, and biggest." He didn't grasp it like I hoped he would, but he did better understand the measuring cup comparisons. We used 1/2 cup and 1 cup. I called them by their measurement and also by their size (small and big). I quizzed him a bit and he did much better correctly pointing to the correct size. It's a start and I look forward to seeing how he grows in this area.
